What sports team is the Hogs? ›

The Arkansas Razorbacks, also known as the Hogs, are the intercollegiate athletics teams representing the University of Arkansas, located in Fayetteville.

"The Original Hogs" set the standard for offensive line excellence with Russ Grimm, Joe Jacoby, Jeff Bostic, George Starke, Mark May, Donnie Warren, Doc Walker, and Fred Dean. Core group of Jacoby, Bostic, Grimm and Warren played in four Super Bowls and won three between 1982 - 1992!

Hogs - or Red Hogs - stems from an era of the franchise that overlaps with the Super Bowl-winning teams in the 1980s and early 1990s. Offensive line coach Joe Bugel used the term as a nickname for the team's dominant offensive line.
