The Work of the Ministry is To Share The Truth of Jesus, to Believe on Him
Once a person realizes the fact that Jesus is alive living in them, and the Holy Spirit directs their paths, the work of the ministry (to believe in Jesus) is to share the Truth of Jesus with people. However, if one does not know what the truth is, then how can a person really share TRUTH with people? We began our study in the book of Galatians recently, and read about Paul coming down sternly on the churches in Galatia for having believed another gospel which is no gospel at all. And yet today, that is a huge part of what we need to be doing in the ministry, because most people are representing some other Jesus than the one in the bible. Many are presenting a perverted Truth which is still a lie, in regards to what Jesus did on the cross. People ask today, should we be fighting this or that? And in reality we miss what is the most important thing right in front of us, fighting against the lies of Satan and his fake ministers of righteousness and presenting TRUTH (Jesus) to people. It’s a spiritual battle folks, that is key for us to understand. It is NOT a physical battle.
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12
If someone eliminated all the physical evil in the world, it would not change a thing in the hearts of people. What would we need Jesus for? Today evil is on display for ALL to see, yet most people are ignorant of it, and are deceived beyond measure. Most don’t have a clue that evil is right in front of their faces everyday. And when Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the whole world, Satan has taken advantage of that also. The cross changed everything, and how God is dealing with each and everyone of us too. And so, nothing is really as it seems. If we all got what we deserved, we would all be goners. And that’s important to understand, that God is NOT wishing anyone to perish, but come to repentance (a change of mind about Jesus, God in flesh and what He did on the cross for them personally). He TOOK AWAY the sins of the world (and the world includes you and me) from the eyes and God, and God is NOT counting anyone’s sins against them.
For some, that is a tough pill to swallow. For they would like someone that is really really evil to be destroyed by God and never understand the Truth about the Grace of God. Only through the Truth that is taught by the Holy Spirit himself can one begin to understand the width, breadth, and depth of the Love of God for each and every person in the world. And God does not grade on the curve. Only by faith in Jesus is anyone declared righteous in the sight of God.
~ “will have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and height and depth of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:18,19
“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-21
Behold the Lamb of God Who Took Away the Sins of the World
Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.
“2nd Corinthians 3, 6 through 11. Okay, he has made us competent as ministers of a New Covenant. Now they’re not competent of anything be unless they were Minister of a new covenant. That’s right, and it’s and they explains what that means, not of the letter, not of the letter, but of the spirit. Why? Because the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. So you’re supposed to be a minister of a new covenant of life, not of the minister of the law that kills, but of the ministry of the new covenant that gave life. Now, if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters of stone, came with glory. So if the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory fading though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? So again, we have to realize it tells you, right there, the law is fading away. It’s been surpassed by something greater. And if what was fading away, it says came with glory. How much greater is the glory of that would last forever? So I would just read those scriptures, and hopefully, God will…” ~ Bob George
