Christ in You, Your Only Hope of Glory
~ “Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 The person who is in Christ Jesus, He, Jesus is alive living in you through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives life to everyone who places faith in Him, and the Lord’s Supper is a picture of Jesus, Christ living in you. Today even the Lord’s Supper has been perverted by teachers of the LAW, thinking that more forgiveness is required by God, and telling a perverted message of the gospel. And make no mistake about it, most so-called churches today teach a perversion of this. And it doesn’t matter whether a person is Catholic or Protestant, both are teaching lies. The Protestant simply believes in a different lie variation than the Catholic believes. And that’s why people will say, that they don’t see much difference between the Protestant and the Catholic. And sadly, that is indeed the case. Both would rather listen to the teaching of Man, rather than listening to the truth of the Word of God.
So it’s time to wise up (be taught by the Holy Sprint), and quit listening to the teaching of Man. For Man’s teaching is filled with a bunch of lies and liars today, and that is just the way it is. Satan has infiltrated the church, and we are now at a point in time where we have to TRUST only in the Holy Spirit for ALL TRUTH.
And as we have recently begun teaching on the book of Galatians, we are finding out that there are indeed many other gospels that are being preached today, that is NOT the Truth of the Word of God. So lean not on your own understanding of anything today, but in ALL things take it to the Lord in prayer and ask for wisdom and understanding directly from Him, and He will give it with GREAT ABUNDANCE without finding fault. TRUTH.
“To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27
“You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.” Romans 8:9-11
Behold the Lamb of God Who Took Away the Sins of the World
Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.
A caller wanted to understand the Lord’s Supper:
“Well, Kevin, the Lord’s Supper is explained in Corinthians, and if you read that passage, it just is nothing by what we do today, what that was a picture of, and what what Paul was chastising the Corinthians For was taking the supper in an unworthy manner, because they were coming to the supper and eating up all the food and drinking up all the wine before the rest of the body of Christ came. And in so doing, not only are you showing yourself to be a glutton and having no consideration at all for the body of Christ, but you missed the picture of what he gave us the supper for. And so he is chastising. I mean, he’s really criticizing the Corinthians For that act, that activity. And he said, Don’t you have homes to eat and drink in? Because as you come together, you’re coming to celebrate something that we’re all who are born again are a picture of what we has taken place in our lives. The bread would have been representative of the Body of Christ 2000 years ago, if you were to look for the body of Christ, you’d had to go to Jerusalem and find Jesus, and he would have been the body of Christ, but Jesus said, I’m going away. But when I do, I’m going to send my Spirit to you, and you’re going to be my body. So the body of Christ today is made up of born again believers his church. Not people meeting in a building on Sunday. It’s the believers all over the world. Some of them might be meeting in that building. Some may not, but it’s his church is born again, believers. So when you said the bread represented my body, they said, Take and eat. Well, what do you do with that? This my body broken for you, he broke the bread, which is a picture of his body being broken and for us and past. Well, what is it when you take the bread? Well, it’s really, it’s a celebration of the day that you became a part of the body of Christ. Because if you’re born again, you’re the body of Christ. The Spirit of God came to live in you. That’s Christ in you, and then baptized you into his body. That’s you in him. And so we’re a part of the body of Christ. So every so out of one loaf, out of one loaf, and that’s Christ. He made you into his body. So that taking of the bread is a celebration of the day that you came to the Lord.
And you pass that bread around, and you see each and every person partaking of that and you start thinking, Man, that was the day he came to the Lord. That’s the day she came to the Lord. That’s the day that child came to the Lord. And that’s what it’s a picture of. After a while, everyone has partaken of the loaf, and it’s gone. Say, Well, who is gone? Jesus. Where is the loaf? It’s gone. Where is it? In you. It’s a picture of Christ in you, the hope of glory, becoming a member of the Body of Christ out of one loaf, one person that’s Christ, then the taking of the wine is a celebration of the New Covenant. Quite frankly, Kevin, I never heard a message on new covenant, which is a word to me, but the New Covenant says their sins and lawless acts, I’ll remember no more. And where these have been forgiven. There’s no longer any sacrifice for sins. There’s no more forgiveness to be executed on the world, because I’ve taken it upon myself. The only sin attributable to man, it was identified by Jesus, and that’s the world’s sin, is unbelief in me. The only question that God will ever ask you or me is, what did you do with my Son? There is no one who will ever go to hell because of his sins, plural only the sin or the rejection of the Son of God who came to take away the sins of the world and to give life to us, who were born dead spiritually. And so that’s supposed to be a celebration of that truth and our sins been taken away.
What do we do? Sit around, dim the lights, play the organ, get in a model and mood, try to get all your sins, confess so you don’t eat damnation upon yourself. There anything could be farther from the truth in that. And to me, it’s one of the most perverted doctrines. One of the most perverted things in the in the New Testament, is the way in which we celebrate the Lord’s Supper, but when you celebrate it properly, and you celebrated for what it means so the day that I became a part of the body of Christ, and that means that we belong to Christ and we belong to each other. And if you and I were sitting inside of of a room together, Kevin, taking the Lord’s Supper the way we do it, at least, that’s what I would communicate to you, Kevin, we belong to Christ and we belong to one another. We’re a part of him and we’re a part of one another. And that’s the picture, fantastic picture of that truth. Okay, brother. And that explains that in great detail, it would maybe be helpful if you ever want to choose to pick that tape series up, because, you know, if you need to share it with anybody, it would be helpful to you.
